Saturday, February 19, 9 am - 4 pm "Third Saturday Art Fair in the Courtyard"    Many Hands Courtyard needs a couple more artists for the Third Saturday Art Fair. Accepted artists can set up a display on one table in the Courtyard between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Art Craft owner Cindy Haas has just begun this and is advertising for these regular events. We are lacking people who do ceramic / clay items and smaller reasonably priced quality paintings/ cards/ prints. A photographic table might be a nice addition. To discuss this, you can bring works into the Blue Raven Gallery on Fridays, 12-5 and/ or email Katie at katie@katieiverson.com with questions.

Usually, third Tuesday of the month so it should be February 21, 10 - 11:30 am Critique Sessions with Barbara Terkanian: Once a month problem-solving sessions for artists at any level of experience. Course description: "We'll put our works up in the gallery and discuss each artist's work in turn, with an eye towards helping the artists meet his/her goals in a fun, supportive environment." Bring in one, two or three completed pieces or works in progress. Works may be paintings, photographs, sculptures, or other media and may be abstract or representational. Cost: $5 per session (Blue Raven members - free) Instructor: Barbara Terkanian is a painter and a biologist. She is trained in the elements of design and is currently working on "semi-plain air" watercolors of saguaros. She has taught with the Art Institute at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. She is one of five gallery owners and she teaches biology at Pima Community College.
